About the Issue:
The short stories and flash we have chosen for the premiere issue reflect our deep love of language, and its power to provoke emotion through nothing more than the simple act of putting words on a page. You may find them curious, and perhaps challenging, but isn’t that the point of good literature?

Although we did not intend it, in curating this issue we have acquired work from around the globe: Canada, England, Germany, Poland, Australia; and from the U.S. representatives from the east coast, west coast, the heartland, and Alaska. The stories themselves take us to even more exotic places: Indonesia, Scotland, the deep south, the frigid north, cities, countrysides.
